I think that both Guan Yu and Zhang Fei were great generals of their time. They were both strong men who were quite capable of leading their troops into battle. If they were to fight each other, I think they would be equally matched.
Zhang Fei was not actually an alcoholic as many people think he was, bu he did have a short temper.

If not, I'm from Australia and I'm really interested in Three Kingdoms stuff and my favourite person of that era is Guan Yu-so don't diss him.
